Load shedding: Power protests erupt in Clifton

KARACHI: A score of people, including women and children, took to the streets in Clifton on Sunday to protest a day-long bout of power outage. The residents of Neelum Colony and Shah Rasool Colony set fire to tyres on the 26th Street near Matka Chowk and blocked the flow of traffic against load shedding in their neighbourhood. The protesters shouted slogans against the Karachi Electricity Supply Company and demanded restoration of electricity.
