Shahrah-e-Pakistan: Construction of flyovers to begin soon

The flyovers are being built at a cost of Rs1.5 billion.

KARACHI: Work on the construction of four flyovers on Shahrah-e-Pakistan will start this week, the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) said on Sunday. Arrangements have already been made to ensure that traffic. Shahrah-e-Pakistan serves as a link between Super Highway and the rest of the city and passes through several key areas and often faces massive jams during peak hours. The flyovers are being built at the intersections of Water Pump, Ayesha Manzil, Dakkhana and Teen Hati at a cost of Rs1.5 billion.
