Bajaur operation day 10: Nine militants killed

Security officials claim to have killed important commanders of TTP, injured several other militants.

KHAR: The security forces of Pakistan have claimed to have killed nine militants and injured several others on the 10th day of security operation in the Salarzai area of  Bajaur Agency on Sunday.

The security officials claimed that some important commanders of the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were also killed during the clash as the forces used heavy artillery and other weapons to attack militant hide-outs.

There were no reports of casualties among the security forces.

The officials also claimed of facing heavy resistance from the militants when they launched an attack.

After the clash, the forces launched a search in the area to find more militants with the support of the local peace committee.
