Three militants were killed on Saturday as clashes between militants and security forces in Bajaur Agency entered the ninth day.
A security official claimed that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman for Bajaur Agency, Shahid Umer, and TTP commander Huzaifa are among the Taliban fatalities. He claimed that militants have been flushed out from most parts of the Batwar area, the scene of recent fighting.
Meanwhile, an administration official said that two civilians were killed and four injured when two missiles fired from the Afghan province of Kunar hit a pick-up vehicle in the Kamangara area.
Meanwhile, during a news conference in Khar, the headquarters of Bajaur Agency, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader Sirajul Haq said that around 3,000 families have fled from the area. Siraj demanded temporary ceasefire in the area to evacuate the civilians, adding that health and food facilities should be provided to the displaced people.

@True Voice of Pakistan: You have to understand, the villagers do no willingl shelter militants. They are threatened by these TTP thugs on one end, and blamed by the public on the other. The only true criminals here are the TTP.
Pakistan security forces are finally taking on these savages decisively though a bit late. However, the saying ' Better late than never' is appropriate for this operation. However, good luck to Pak armed forces in achieving their objective.
Very good, there is no 'good' TTP. All of them fascist animals who use religion as an excuse to kill innocents and braves. May God help us rid of this disease that has gripped our country
No Ceasefire.....Why the Hell villagers were sheltering Militants..so you give them time to escape and then relaunch attacks on innocent people...better Raze all...
