‘Honour’ crime: Woman killed ‘by brother’

Imran had suspected that she was seeing some other man and that was why she separated from her husband.

FAISALABAD: A woman was killed in an axe attack in Bhowana area ‘in the name of honour’.

The FIR accused Muhammad Imran of killing Sajida Bibi after an argument over her separation with her husband. It said the woman had moved out of her husband’s house and was staying with her parents for some months.

It said Imran had suspected that she was seeing some other man and that was why she separated from her husband.  Police said a team had been formed to arrest the suspect and the body sent for an autopsy.
