Jamaat-i-Islami Ameer Munawar Hasan announced that the party would organise a World Hijab Day on September 4.
Addressing the Friday congregation at Mansoora, he said cultural practices alien to Islamic values were being promoted. The Muslim youth must rise to defend their culture. He said programmes will be held across the country to highlight how the West was setting double standards for the cause of human rights.
