Drug act violation: Three clinics sealed

Anti-corruption authorities sealed three private clinics that were running in violation of health laws in Mansehra

MANSEHRA: The anti-corruption authorities and health department officials in a joint action, sealed three private clinics that were running in violation of health laws in Mansehra, official sources said on Thursday.  Hazara Drug Inspector Tausif Ahmed told newsmen that following public complaints on use and sale of medicines by unregistered companies at private clinics and medical stores, he along with Anti Corruption Police raided Family Hospital, Al Humair Medical Centre and China Homeopathic Centre. They also recovered expired medicines and those manufactured by unregistered pharmaceutical companies. The drug inspector said that criminal cases have been registered against the clinics and medical stores under the Drug Act and their buildings have been sealed.
