Petition challenges commission on new provinces
A petition filed by chairman of Watan party Barrister Zafarullah Khan stated that the commission formed was discriminatory and did not represent the concerned parties.
He further added that its application was limited to a specific purpose and province.
He argued that if a new province would help in administration, it could be made through provincial assemblies and national assemblies, provided they are passed by two thirds majority. He further claimed that the commission formed was against Articles 239 (4) and 4, 5 and 8 of the Constitution.
“Pakistan today is a mirror of our political and ethical imperfections. This issue could have been raised during the 18th constitutional amendment,” he contested.
The Barrister said that the president did not have the power to constitute a commission, and that provinces were being made on the basis of ethnicities.
Terming the idea of a new province as fake, the petitioner argued “if new provinces were being made for the welfare of people then how do we have a Seraiki prime minister, Seraiki governor and a Seraiki foreign minister, whose husband is the biggest defaulter of electricity bills in Punjab.”
The petitioner prayed that the commission should be set aside.

There is no need to divide Punjab to fulfill the desires of a few self-made p0liticians who are actually corrupt individuals like Yousaf Raza Gilai and a few others to achieve their own evil designs.to hide their corruption. Such people are doing nothing except creating hatred between the people of the same province. They are not rendering any service to the country and the province of Punjab. PML(N) should openly oppose the division of Punjab with full force instead of showing "munafaqat" by saying that they also favour creation of a new province simply to get a few seats in the assemblies. Choudhry Brothers have shown their selfishness by supporting division to get a few seats in the Southern Punjab. Pakistan cannot afford further division of Punjab.
@Qaisrani: People like Dasti will be sidelined once the province is made. It will be the Khar's, the Gurmanis, the Khosa's, the Gilani's and the Legharis that will rule Seraiki province. There will be another 100 years of deprivation. Atleast Sharif's are not feudals. Who will you turn to then?

Pakistanis complain about Punjab's hegemony where as Punjabis have formed just 2 governments in the center... Kalabagh dam bounced off the pitch-due to Sindh, Indus water treaty took away Punjab's rivers, Punjab's NFC award reduced but its rightful share given to Balochistan, no federal government development projects in Punjab, no water electricity gas in Punjab most of the time...so what is the thing that proves punjab's hegemony? know the facts..Sindh people's government is responsible for what is going on in Pakistan..Sindh-led government is the one who led the breakup of pakistan in 1971- Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto as for the partition of Punjab for dispersing the population's power, that wont happen ever! Punjab should have never been a Pakistani nationalist!

Common sense is a punishment and not a gift becuse you have to deal with those who does not have. punjabies have totally been exposed and seraikis are dealing with them.
Seariki Province is caus of poor and deprive and exploited people of south Punjab (Seqariki + Non-Seariki).
90 % of people support this cause. This will balance Pakistan and Will strengthen democracy.
PML-N will have to face historical defeat in South Punjab (Searki majority area that is about 50 % by population) Also Sindhi will not vote too as Sindih are also supporter of Searii Province. Rest 40 % Pakistan left and how much will PML_N win??????????/ Think time for PML-N................If they dot Favor Searikis. ALLAH Azab in the form of Historical defeat is waiting for them.

One eyed Dajal is asked to intervene ... am not seraiki.. but i can foresee... only seraikistan would assure that there won't be another Bangladesh. Else Punjab would keep on killing the leaders of minority nations and usurping their assets, due to being a majority in numbers.

We cannot and will not allow Punjab in Pakistan to become like UP in India.
Mayawati keeps getting elected in UP because of her ethnicity and caste . We will not allow that sort of politics to effect pruralism of Pakistani Punjab .
The Punjabi electorate will demand that PML N pass another resolution clearly enunciating that bifurcation of Punjab is not an option .
