According to officials, he was killed last week in one of three strikes in Shawal district of North Waziristan, but they did not specify which of the strikes killed him.
Badruddin was said to be the operational commander of the al Qaeda-linked Haqqani network responsible for attacks on Kabul.
Earlier, Afghanistan’s spy agency had said that Badruddin had been killed but it has been denied by the Taliban, to which the network is allied.

Thank you, America! I may be the lone Pakistani who appreciates their terrorists killing by drones
@True Voice of Pakistan: I agree with your comments but there is lack of awakening in people's thinking who either support these murderers, bear their atrocities fearing them and govt too is the culprit by turning a blind eye which is taking the country into utter chaos.
Thanks GOD....Please speed up the process to exterminate all ROGUE elements....Pakistan should be land of Pure not IMPURE like HAQQANIS and their sympathizers
Now it seems to me that an independant international command is operating the Drones .
So, the Taliban first said that Badruddin Haqqani was not killed that was a lie. Taliban and Imran Khan also tell us that drones kill innocent women and children. Shall we believe that?
I hope no one comes up and says he is 98% killed!!
Not good news for Pakistan. A lot of time, effort and money went into grooming these strategic assets.
Good riddance. Now who provided the intelligence about the location ?
He was killed, belive it. May Allah keeps these conspirators and destroyers away from the Muslims, Ameen.
Let us hope he is only the first of this clan who has been put out of business. The least the Military can do is to drive these unwanted allies across the border and into the loving arms of NATO who will be waiting to give him a warm reception. Such unwanted characters are better off sent to their country of origin.
No Problems. Pakistan needs more of its national bird. Kakul Academy can be the first target.
Good riddance if true
The only good taliban is a dead one.
All offer Fateha with their relatives such as Munawar Hassan of JI and Imran Khan of PTI for their tragic loss!
Those who create terror also die in terror!
