Crime: Two cops held for thrashing girl

Battal police initiated an inquiry and registered criminal cases against the two cops.

Two police officials of the Battagram police were booked on Wednesday on charges of thrashing a teenage girl.


Battal Police quoted Gul Rehman of Neeli Shing village as saying that he left his niece, Salma Bibi, 17, alone for a while in Chattar Bazaar and upon returning, he found two policemen, Shah Zarin and Gul Rehman, thrashing her and trying to tear off her clothes.

Battal police initiated an inquiry and registered criminal cases against the two cops.
