Ghazala Javed murder: Former husband arrested from Peshawar
Ghazala was gunned down by unidentified gunmen outside a beauty parlour in Dabagari, Peshawar on June 18.
Ghazala’s younger sister Farhat had filed a First Information Report (FIR) with the police accusing her sister’s ex-husband Jehangir and his two friends Salam and Naseem of murdering her sister and her father. She told the police that Ghazala had a dispute with Jehangir, from whom she had sought divorce only six months after marriage.
Jahangir was arrested by Peshawar police from his house, while one of the other suspects managed to escape.
According to Express News correspondent Ihtesham Khan, Jahangir denied the charges levelled against him.

No comments, as the case is subjudious and who we are to decide to hang and punish her husband be cool and let the law of the land and free & fair judiciary is there now, let them do thier duty i hope it will do. This is totally wrong that we people dont wait for justice but announcing our own decitions with out any knoledg and knowing the actual facts of such blind murders. she was a big singer butiful too, but no body knows that why she was killed, let the responcible agencies do thier job and dicide judicialy. I request our friends let us be cool & calm treat the things like other advance nations and let us prove other nations that we pakistanies are educated and peace loving nation. thanks.

I have question for u guys, why u guys are so extremist. Do u guys know, who killed ghazala javeed, do u guys know, y she had been killed, so relax, take a deep breath and then give it comments. If the guy ( husband) is responsible for he death, justice would be done, but not in Pakistan. Justice can take place in non muslims countries, not in muslim countries. I hope u guys should understand by now.
i want to hang her husband till death and make example for others. how they killed ghazala i dont believe till today she is not with us remembers in our memories

MY LORDS , I have full faith in your judgements, PLEASE LORDS !! if the husband of the singer, a daughter of my country, is found GUILTY,PLEASE MY LORDS, roast the murderer on RAW CHARCOAL. making him an example for all others with big names and bank accounts to think twice before daring hurt anyone.

I just wanted to tell the police know to do their job the way it should be done. I don't want courts let this monster go alive and free again. He is responsible for death of a beautiful singer of our Pukhton Nation. I urge courts to please hang this monster and give him exemplary sentence so that no one in future could think of harming artists so easily.
Because of this person we have lost a great voice.So justice be meted out to that singer.
