Police custody: Suspect remanded in extortion case

KARACHI: The Anti-Terrorism Court-III remanded an underage suspect in an extortion case for seven days on Tuesday. The boy was named in the First Information Report 501/2010 filed by the Preedy police station under sections of the Pakistan Penal Code that comprise extortion by threatening violence and common intent. The suspect will remain in custody at the borstal institution in Garden.
