Murder: Boy killed in remote village

CHITRAL: A young boy was murdered in the remote Mroi village of Chitral on Sunday. According to the Koghuzi police, seven-year-old Fida Rehman, son of Rahmat Zar, went to a local shop to buy sweets but did not return home. Upon search, the boy’s body was found in a nearby maize field. The body was taken to District Headquarter Hospital Chitral where autopsy revealed that the boy died after his throat was slit by a sharp object. Police registered a murder case and started investigation.
