Polio eradication: Zardari to address UN session

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is providing aid to Pakistan for the eradication of polio.

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari will fly to the United States next month for the United Nations General Assembly session. The president, who is scheduled to address the General Assembly, will inform the session about Pakistan’s measures towards polio eradication. Talks will also be held between him and Bill Gates, the chairman of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, to discuss polio elimination efforts in the country. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is providing aid to Pakistan for the eradication of polio.
