Rescue 15 attack: ‘Present witnesses on Sep 4’

Hearing postponed a number of times because the addresses provided by the prosecution witnesses turned out to be fake.

LAHORE: A judge on Saturday directed the capital city police officer to ensure that prosecution witnesses, in the 2009 attack on Rescue 15 office at Civil Lines, are present in court. The hearing has been postponed a number of times because the addresses provided by the prosecution witnesses turned out to be fake. The Rescue 15 centre at Civil Lines was attacked on May 27, 2009. At least 35 people were killed when a van loaded with explosives was blown up at the entrance.
