Recreation: Eid festival concludes in Bhurban

RAWALPINDI: Bhurban Cricket Stadium was a centre of attraction for thousands of families as children thronged various colourful stalls and their parents enjoyed the pleasant weather. The two-day youth and family Eid festival, organised by Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab and Parks and Horticulture Agency (PHA), concluded with a delightful music performance on Saturday. The event featured various stalls, dance performances, music competitions, kids entertainment area, food stalls, brass band performance and lucky draws among other attractions. “The festival has allowed us to make the most out of our holidays. The pleasant weather, fun activities and free entry, it just seems to be too good,” said Hina Khan,a visitor. PHA MD Mushtaq Ahmed said the festival is being held in light of the Punjab CM’s instructions.
