In recognition of its reputation as a leading medical education institution, Army Medical College, National University of Sciences and Technology (Nust) has been included in the international directory of medical colleges.
A press release issued by Nust on Friday said the Foundation for Advancement in Medical Education and Research has issued a notification in this regard. Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) congratulated the university management, faculty members and students for the achievement.
NUST Rector Engineer Muhammad Asghar termed the accomplishment the fruition of the commitment to pursue excellence. Recently, PMDC allowed AMC to supervise PhDs in Chemical Pathology in addition to Biochemistry. Established in 1977, the college offers MBBS, BDS, FCPS and PhD degrees.
