Neither the government nor the private sector are providing suitable jobs to special persons.
NOWSHERA: President Asif Ali Zardari signed the Instrument of Ratification on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities at the presidency at a special ratification ceremony. It really was a truly historic day for disabled people. But I want to know the use of celebrating a day dedicated to disabled people every year.
Neither the government nor the private sector are providing suitable jobs to special persons, especially those who are elderly. I request the authorities concerned to look at the predicament that elderly special persons find themselves in. I appeal to the president to please take measures to provide suitable jobs to people like me in government departments. Please don’t ignore our humble request.
