London Olympics: Petition filed against Pakistani players

Petitioner says the players deliberately did not play well.

LAHORE: A petition was filed in court demanding an investigation into the poor performance of Pakistani players in the recent Olympics.

The petition was filed by Barrister Zafarullah Khan on behalf of Watan Party stating that the poor performance by the national players had brought a bad name to the country.

He said that the players deliberately did not play well. He also blamed the government functionaries and their lack of concern for the poor performance.
