Price hike: JI condemns increase in petroleum prices

The price of petroleum was increased Rs3.21 per litre and CNG by Rs2.68.

KARACHI: The government’s decision to raise oil and CNG prices has been criticized by Asadullah Bhutto, chief of the Jamaat-e-Islami in Sindh.

The price of petroleum was increased Rs3.21 per litre and CNG by Rs2.68, according to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority. He described the decision as a drone strike on the citizens who are already suffering from poverty and inflation.
