Family tensions: Three women take their lives

PESHAWAR:
Three women took their lives in separate cases of family disputes. Muhabat Shah, a resident of Sarki, filed a case stating that his daughter shot herself, committing suicide. In another incident a man named Zaman said his wife swallowed poison and died while in hospital. In a third such case, Noorul Baswar told police that his wife committed suicide by drinking pesticides. The district government has issued orders not to sell the poison to lone buyers or those under the age of 20.
