Criminal minds: Girl gang-raped, left to die

HYDERABAD: A five-year-old was gang raped by unidentified men and then dumped by a roadside in Jamshoro on Wednesday. S had gone out to buy sweets in the Rasuh Mori area in Kotri. People later found her lying unconscious on a road in a nearby locality. She was taken to the Kotri taluka hospital where Dr Kausar Soomro confirmed the offence. Due to excessive bleeding and insufficient facilities at the hospital, the girl was referred to Civil Hospital, Hyderabad. R Solangi, the girl’s father, has registered a case with the Kotri police under Section 376 of Pakistan Penal Code.
