Pakistan announces squad for T20 and ODI

Pakistan Tuesday announced their squad for next month's two Twenty20 and five one-day matches against England.

LAHORE: Pakistan Tuesday announced their squad for next month's two Twenty20 and five one-day matches against England.

After the current Tests against England, Pakistan play back-to-back Twenty20 matches at Cardiff, on September 5 and 7, before their five-match one-day series starts at Chester-le-Street three days later.

All-rounder Shahid Afridi will lead the squad in the limited over series.

The 16-man team that will be the same for ODIs and T20 is as follows:

4. Mohammad Hafeez

5. Mohammad Yousuf

6. Azhar Ali

7. Umar Akmal

8. Kamran Akmal

9. Fawad Alam

13. Umar Gul

14. Saeed Ajmal

15. Shoaib Akhtar
