Election Commission: Afzal takes charge as additional secretary

Afzal Khan had been sent to Peshawar following controversy over voter lists.

ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Afzal Khan assumed charge as additional secretary of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) after he was recalled to the head office following his deputation as provincial election commissioner Peshawar.

Afzal Khan, a one-time chief of the committee verifying the degrees of lawmakers, had been sent to Peshawar following controversy over voter lists.
