Obscene text message: Case against prayer leader

Case registered against a prayer leader for sending an ‘obscene’ text message to a woman’s cell phone.

FAISALABAD: City Jaranwala police have registered a case against a prayer leader under Telegraph Act for sending an ‘obscene’ text message to a woman’s cell phone. In the FIR registered on the complaint of Zubeeda Bibi, Maulvi Muhammad Yahya, a prayer leader at the masjid near 240 Mor, is accusing of sending her a vulgar short-message service (SMS) text. Police said they had raided the mosque but the suspect was not found.
