Ssc-I: One third of candidates pass exam

RAWALPINDI: The results for Secondary School Certificate Part-I examinations were announced by Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education on Wednesday.

A total of 117,510 students appeared in the exams, out of whom 43,915 were declared successful for a pass percentage of 37.37. A total of 67,164 boys and 50,376 girls appeared in the exams.

Of these 20,826 boys and 23,089 girls passed. The success rate among boys was 31% and 45.86% for girls.
