Peace committee leader Muhammad Ali Haleemzai told The Express Tribune that late Tuesday night around 100 militants attacked the Ghaiba Khawar Levies check post and the peace committee headquarters in Sangar Village in district Haleemzai.
The militants, according to a source, attacked both places with heavy weapons, killing one guest and two Levies personnel.
A source at Mian Mandi told The Express Tribune that the deceased was a resident of Pandiali and the injured Levies personnel had been shifted in critical condition to Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar.
Security forces, in a search operation at Shani Keel and adjacent areas, managed to arrest many suspects, a political administration source confirmed.
No militant group has claimed responsibility for the attack as yet.

How come we lose so many young soldiers to attacks on outposts ? I dont hear that many losses for Nato troops in Afghanistan even though they are in a more hostile environment. Is there something lacking in the training or commitment on the part of these soldiers ? For guard duty is a serious business but I feel is taken lightly or indifferently, hence leading to these attacks.
