The report stated that Bukhari denied rumours about investigations still being in progress and said that Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry’s son Arsalan Iftikhar has still not appeared before NAB’s investigation committee.
According to Bukhari, his client Riaz has already raised the issue with the Supreme Court that the investigations should not have been stopped, and complained that investigations have not begun despite the removal of controversial members from the team.
Earlier this month, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) dissolved the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) which was tasked to probe the case after Dr Arsalan Iftikhar raised objections over some of the team members not being totally free of bias.
NAB Prosecutor General KK Agha had informed the apex court that the decision of dissolving the bureau’s special team was made after consultations with the chairman of NAB.

When a powerful Gen Mush could not stop the corruption of CJ's family despite charge sheet him, how could anybody including Malik bring the truth out? As long as the CJ is the most powerful political leader nothing would happen to Don.

Why I am not surprised? Nothing is going to happen to crown prince, he is a born innocent and nothing can stick on him. This case came to light with the dismissal of CJ by Gen Mush. Nothing happened since then. Even when Malik Riaz showed travel documents and receipts the investigations turned against him and not the Jr. Choudhry.

Although I do not like PPP and its coalation partners, but the CJ has lost his credebility. He has become so political and biased. I also believe that the CJ was fully aware of corruption of his son.
May be chief justice himself was indeed involved like Malik Riaz said. And Arsalan was just a front man. And now he is saving his own skin.
I'm amazed how PPP's jiyalas are posting anti-SC/anti-CJ comments here. These people are blind enough to not see the state of Pakistan in the last 5 years by their beloved PPP.
Currently, all the mess for CJ is being created only because he's determined to bring back Pakistani people's money from swiss accounts. It is the reason why Malik Riaz and Fail Raza Abidi and the likes are puppeted to defame the CJ and SC.

Baby Arsalan must be taken care of by his father. He became a millionaire within a few years by using his fathers name and address. But his poor innocent father did not know what his son was doing - he did not even know who was paying for his wife's expenses for the foreign trips. Has anyone seen such a simple innocent and honest man? He is an angel really! God has sent him to look after all of us. So what is wrong if he is looking after Baby Arsalan? All officers of all investigating agencies are prejudiced and biased. So Baby must be left alone and be allowed to do what he pleases.

It has nothing to do with Zahid Bukhari. PCO Chaudhry is trying to protect his son from investigation because evidence against him are very clear, documentary evidence. Now PCO chaudhry is totally out of mind to save his son. @HADI SAKEY:
Zahid Bukhari may be a good lawyer. He speaks too much without substance. He lost Haqqani's case because he was always out of tracek. Now he is handling Malik Riaz case against a hefty fee. Let us see what happens. But it is a fact that Bukhari talks irrelevant matters in the court.
