New hospitals: Health Dept approves 1,224 vacancies

The Punjab government has approved 592 vacancies for doctors and paramedics at a 300-bed under-construction hospital in Shahdara.

According to a Health Department spokesman, the hospital will cost around Rs592 million. It is expected to be completed by November. The government has also approved 632 vacancies at a 410-bed hospital in Bahawalpur, the construction of which is in its final phase.
