Spending on flood aid

LAHORE: This is with reference to your report “Panel to oversee flood aid spending” (August 15). The prime minister, well-intentioned though he may be, should know that most people in this country do not really trust the government. Perhaps the prime minister should ask all MNAs, senators and MPAs to at the very least donate a day’s salary to the aid effort.
