Sindh assembly: Session convened today
Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan has convened the Sindh Assembly session.

Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan has convened the Sindh Assembly session Tuesday (today). According to sources, the unexpected session has been called due to the ongoing controversy between the government and the judiciary. The secretary of the Sindh Assembly, Hadi Bux Buriro, said it would be a private member day and issues relating to members, including resolutions and private bills, will be taken up. Newly elected Pakistan Peoples Party MPA Saira Shahliani, who has replaced Shazia Marri, will most likely take oath.
