On guard: Education official’s son attacked

HYDERABAD:

Ahsan Ali Soomro, the son of assistant director of education department of Hyderabad region, Ghulam Hussain Soomro, has registered a case against 10 men for attempted murder, firing and torture at Pinyari police station Sunday. Nawab Soomro and Bilawal Soomro and have been nominated in the FIR among others.

Ahsan claimed that he was attacked by Nawab and his accomplices outside his house in Dastageer Colony. On the other hand, Nawab Soomro, who is injured, claimed that he was attacked by Ahsan and his friends, not vice versa.

Nawab held a press conference on Sunday at the press club and alleged that Ahsan was staging a ‘drama’. He, protested against the ‘fake’ FIR and the attack outside the press club on Monday.
