Public health: ‘New hospital will start in a month’

Out patients department at the hospital had already been functional since the first day of Ramazan: Law Minister

FAISALABAD: The newly-established Government General Hospital in Samanabad will be operational within a month, Law Minister Rana Sanaullah was told at a meeting to review the pace of work at the hospital on Saturday. He was told that the out patients department at the hospital had already been functional since the first day of Ramazan.  The law minister suggested that doctors from Allied Hospital and Faisalabad district headquarters (DHQ) Hospital should be requested to perform duties at the General Hospital in Samanabad until new doctors were hired for the hospital in Samanabad.  The meeting also decided to move an ambulance from the district headquarters hospital to the Government General Hospital in Samanabad.
