Fake plot transfers: 12 LDA officers penalised

LAHORE:

LDA DG Ahad Khan Cheema on Friday imposed penalties on 12 LDA officers.

An LDA press release said the officials were penalised for their role in illegal transfer of three plots (181, 196 and 223 in F1 Block, Johar Town). Former revenue director Haroon Rashid, Assistant Director (Identification) Muhammad Yasin, Assistant Director (Computer) Mian Ashfaq and Junior Clerk Naseem Abbas were forcibly retired. Data Entry Operator Bilal Rahat and Junior Clerk Akhtar Mumtaz were dismissed from service. The increment of Assistant Director (Computer) Sanaullah Butt has been stopped for one year. Computer officers Mehmood Miraj and Yasir Iftikhar’s increments have been stopped for three years. Increments have been stopped for two years for Senior Clerk Arif Younis and for Assistant Director (Computer) Muhammad Usman for one year.

Three years’ service has been forfeited from Assistant Director (Accounts) Mian Azam Hussain. Deputy Director Afzal Butt and Revenue Directorate Junior Clerk Muhammad Amjad have been exonerated.
