MIRPUR KHAS: A 40-year-old woman, Samdan, who converted to Islam and married a 22-year-old Muslim man in Manzoor colony on Thursday, says she is being threatened for her actions. The woman, who is a Hindu widow, has seven children and her first husband died three years ago. Her new name is Maryam. She claimed that her previous husband’s brother was planning to sell her off. “I have asked the government to provide security to both of us,” she said.
