Educational initiative: Collaboration between EFU Life, TCF

TCF to help the latter in educating underprivileged children.

KARACHI: As a corporate social responsibility initiative, EFU Life has joined hands with The Citizens Foundation (TCF) to help the latter in educating underprivileged children. Under the agreement, EFU Life will donate a certain amount to TCF for every education plan sold through its distribution channels. EFU Life Assurance Ltd started operations in November 1992 as the first private sector life insurance company. In early 1993, EFU Life commenced writing group life insurance business and by March 1994, the company began writing its individual life business. TCF is a professionally managed, non-profit organisation set up in 1995 by a group of citizens concerned about the dismal state of education in Pakistan. It is now one of Pakistan’s leading organisations in the field of formal education. As of 2012, TCF has established 830 purpose-built school units nationwide; enrolling 115,000 students.
