Atc trials: Witness testifies in kidnapping case

KARACHI: The Anti-Terrorism Court-I heard a case relating to an alleged kidnapping in 2009 within Central Jail on Monday. The accused in the case include Adnan Akhtar, Mohammad Zafar, Mohammad Asad and Mehvish. The original First Information Report was filed by the Aziz Bhatti police station. The court heard testimony from a private witness on Monday. The ATC-I also transferred out two cases – Special Cases A 109 and A 110 – to the District Central courts on Monday. The cases were filed under the Arms Ordinance and the Explosives Act respectively. The Anti-Terrorism Court-III heard testimony from a police officer in the case of Matiullah, who is accused of murdering a police man in 2010. The case was filed by the Mehmoodabad police station.
