Army helps restore DG Khan-Multan link

Pakistan Army Engineers restored 31-metre long bridge at Sanawan-Karam Dad Qureshi Mor to provide access to traffic.

Pakistan Army Engineers restored a 31-metre long bridge at Sanawan-Karam Dad Qureshi Mor to provide access to traffic from DG Khan to Multan on Saturday.

The bridge was restored with collaboration of the Punjab Highway Department. Engineers also opened the Alpurai-Karora road in Malakand Division for light traffic.

Meanwhile, relief and rescue efforts by the army continue, as more than 1,735 tonnes of relief items have been sent to Southern Punjab and Sindh from Lahore.
