A delegation of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) met the leaders of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, headed by Sarwat Ejaz Qadri, late Friday night.
According to the MQM, the party will announce a date for the planned roundtable conference after the meetings with political parties conclude.
The meeting was part of MQM’s ongoing efforts to hold a roundtable conference on national security, featuring stakeholders – including military leadership, religious and political leaders and intellectuals.
Meetings with President Asif Ali Zardari in Karachi, the Jamaat-e-Islami in Lahore and the Awami National Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid in Islamabad took place earlier this week.

In an effort to form national consensus, and unite the country; if extremist people like you are going to form propaganda against MQM on such baseless accusations. I guess we will accept it. Accept what ever is required to serve and save our beloved country and it's citizens
Election drama so MQM enter in the next govt who ever form...
@ Beate:
Revenge? LOL.
MQM is trying to hold a meeting with all the Stake Holder; not power hungry people; who would probably would have no stake in future elections any ways.
Salute to MQM and its leaders; great step towards national unity and creating a consensus.
So the only party being ignored is PML-N. Revenge to what Nawaz Shareef remarked about MQM in London APC?
