Murder: Man killed over monetary dispute

Ali had gone to Ubaid’s house in Amarpura to get his money back where he was stabbed to death

A man was killed allegedly by his business associate over a monetary dispute in Waris Khan on Wednesday night.  Police sources said that Abid Ali, a resident of Chachi Mohalla, had given some money to Ubaidur Rehman to start a business. Later, the duo developed differences. On Wednesday, Ali had gone to Ubaid’s house in Amarpura to get his money back where he was stabbed to death, police said.


Meanwhile, the same police arrested two suspected drug pushers on Thursday and seized hashish from their possession. The police seized 150 grams of hashish from Nadeem and 108 grams from Jameel.
