Found dead: Missing teenager’s body recovered

Shehzad Town police said Zeeshan Ali left home with friends and did not return in the evening.

ISLAMABAD: The body of a young boy who went missing on Tuesday from Gandhian Dhok Farash in the city outskirts was recovered on Wednesday. Rescue officials and police recovered his body was from a river after it was spotted by passersby. The Shehzad Town police said Zeeshan Ali left home with friends and did not return in the evening. He did not inform his family about his whereabouts. They approached the police after failing to locate him. On Wednesday, passersby spotted the body in the Soan River and informed the police, who shifted the body to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, where family members were able to identify the body.
