Investigations were underway while no one had claimed responsibility for the abduction.

Abducted: BMC surgeon kidnapped in Mastung

QUETTA/ LONDON: Bolan Medical College (BMC) surgeon Dr Din Mohammad Bangulzai was kidnapped by unidentified armed men in Ganji Dori area of Mastung district on Sunday night. According to the Balochistan Levies official Mohammad Ishraf, the BMC surgeon was on his way from Quetta to Mastung when unidentified armed men abducted him. “The doctor’s car was recovered from the Ganji Dori area,” added the official. Dr Din was a resident of Mastung. According to the BMC sources, Dr Din returned to Mastung every Sunday in order to supervise a free medical clinic in the area. He had no party affiliation, sources in BMC confirmed, while talking to The Express Tribune. Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Balochistan strongly condemned the kidnapping, demanding an immediate release of Dr Din. Investigations were underway while no one had claimed responsibility for the abduction.
