On arrival, he was briefed about operational and development activities being pursued by the army, in collaboration with local administration, said an ISPR press release issued on Friday.
While interacting with troops involved in the operation, Gen Kayani lauded their sacrifices and efforts in fighting the menace of terrorism.
Earlier on arrival, the army chief was received by Commander Peshawar Corps Lieutenant General Khalid Rabbani.
