KARACHI: One person was killed, six were injured when planted explosives blew up in the Buffer Zone area of North Karachi on Wednesday night, reported Express News.

The patrol car was destroyed as a result of the explosion.

Police and Rangers have cordoned off the area and are carrying out investigations into the blast, to determine whether a remote controlled device was planted or was it hurled at the van.

Police have also recovered a large number of ball bearings from the site of the blast suggesting that they were used to cause maximum damage. A nearby wall bore marks of ball bearings too.

The dead has been identified as Zubair, a resident of Buffer Zone.

People have become sick and tired of the ongoing law and order situation in Karachi.

Many innocent precious human beings have died target killings and bomb blasts.

It seem that there is no end to it in the PPP government.

The well-to-do youth are migrating to other countries and those who cannot afford to go abroad are becoming victims.

Businessmen are winding up their businesses due to extortion of money which is creating acute shortage of employment opportunities.

The more will be unemployed, there will be a rise in various crimes.

Under the Constitution, it is the duty of the sitting government to protect the lives and properties of the citizens, but the action of the government is either too slow or negligible.

The city of lights Karachi has become the focal point of the terrorists, target killers and extortionists.

Under these circumstances who want to live in Karachi?
