ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has hired 71 vehicles for providing transport facilities to the voters of 29 polling stations out of 245 set up in NA 151 Multan for bye-election being held on Thursday. The ECP media office said it has sent information about the names and serial number of voters and names of polling stations to all 138,000 registered voters in the constituency through a post and SMS service. The constituency fell vacant after the Supreme Court disqualified former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani. His son Abdul Qadir Gilani is contesting the bye-election on the PPP ticket.
