Multan court: Accountability court judge appointed

President approved appointment of Shakeel Ahmed as Judge Accountability Court Multan.

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari, on the advice of the premier, approved appointment of Shakeel Ahmed as Judge Accountability Court Multan, according to a statement released on Friday.

The Law and Justice Division recommended Shakeel Ahmed, former judge Anti-Terrorism Court Lahore from the names sent to them by Lahore High Court, to be appointed for the position.

On Thursday, President Zardari had approved appointment of three accountability courts’ judges in Lahore and Peshawar.
