Instability: Four killed in another day of Quetta violence

The attack might have been a case of personal enmity.

At least four people were killed and one injured in separate incidents of violence in Quetta on Friday.


According to the police, unidentified armed men killed two people on Samungli Road who were identified as Haji Wazir Khan and Haji Nek Muhammad Khilji. The bodies were later moved to Bolan Medical Complex Hospital for autopsy.

According to sources, the attack might have been a case of personal enmity. In a separate incident, unidentified armed men killed Noor Allam in the Saryab Mill area.

In yet another incident in the Saryab locality, unidentified men barged into a house in Bank Colony and killed Muhammad Tahir. The victim belonged to Sargodha and might have been a victim of settler target killing according to police sources.

Meanwhile, a woman identified as Zarin Bibi sustained serious wounds when she stepped on a landmine laid by unidentified people in Jaffarabad.  She was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
