Road safety: Identify trouble spots, says DIG highways

DIG addressing a meeting of officials to assess the six police performance during the past six months.

LAHORE: National Highways and Motorway Police DIG Rai Altaf Hussain said on Friday that locations on the road where accidents and crime occurred frequently should be identified and comprehensive strategies should be evolved to reduce the ratio of fatalities on highways and provide safe journey to the commuters. He was addressing a meeting of officials to assess the six police performance during the past six months.
