Scholarship: 27 professors to pursue PhDs in US

Twenty seven educators from Pakistani universities and teacher training institutes attended a send-off celebration on Thursday before leaving for the US to pursue doctoral degree programmes in Education, said a press release.


The participants have been selected from 23 Pakistani universities for a four-year PhD programme in Education , that will start in August. The doctoral candidates will return to their universities upon completion of their degrees. “I am positive that the programme will help make more informed decisions regarding management of teachers,” said SumairaTaj, senior instructor from K-P. The scholarship programme is funded by the United States Agency for International Development.
