After a breach: 30 villages flooded in Kachho

The Express Tribune learnt that drains no. 12, 13 and 14 were damaged.

KARACHI: At least 30 villages in Kachho area were inundated after a breach occurred in the Nain Gaj rain drain late on Tuesday after the area received its first monsoon showers of the year, which continued for at least four hours. The Express Tribune learnt that drains no. 12, 13 and 14 were damaged. The rain water submerged several villages in Sawro, Drigh Bala and Turr union councils. Villagers were forced to leave behind their belongings as they tried to reach safe places.
